Pilot engine falls into river

Dhanbad, Jan 12 (UNI) Railway traffic was thrown out of gear near Hehalgadha under Dhanbad division of Coal India Coal (CIC) section after a pilot engine and the guard bogie of a goods train fell into the Jawa river at 1530 hrs today.

However, no casualty was reported so far, official sources said adding work was still on to restore the communication.

Senior railway officials with rescue team had arrived at the spot.
