One killed, 35 wounded in different accidents in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 12 (UNI) One person was killed and 35 others wounded in separate road accidents across the Kashmir valley since last evening, police said today.
They said 21-year-old Irfan Ahmad was killed on the spot while 16 others wounded when a mini-bus met with an accident at Kakawring near Charar-e-Sharief in the Badgam district last evening.
The wounded have been hospitalised, police said.
In another accident, at least 15 people were wounded when a passenger bus turned turtle while negotiating a sharp curve at Kaddar Mode in south Kashmir of Anantnag district last night.
Four people were wounded when a Maruti van collided with a Tata Sumo near the Joint Interrogation Centre at Khannabal in south Kashmir last evening. The wounded were rushed to a hospital and discharged after first aid.
