Night temp below normal at several parts of the country

Pune, Jan 12 (UNI) Severe cold wave conditions prevailed in some parts of Harayana and of Punjab.

Cold wave conditions also prevailed in some parts of Rajasthan and remaining parts of Punjab. Night tempratures were below normal in some parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal and in remaining parts of Rajasthan and were below normal in some parts of Orissa, Jharkhand, Jammua and Kashmir,Madhya Pradesh,Gujrat State,south Madhya Maharashtra,Vidarbha,south interior Karnataka and in remaining parts of Haryana.

They were above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya,Konkan and Marathwada, Tamil Nadu and of Kerala.They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam and Meghalaya. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram,Tripura,West Bengal and Sikkim,Orissa,Jharkhand,Bihar.
