MRPL sells Jan/Feb naphtha; premiums up
SINGAPORE, Jan 12 (Reuters) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. (MRPL) has sold two 30,000-tonne cargoes of naphtha, each for late January and early February loading, at higher premiums than its last sale, traders said on Friday.
MRPL sold the cargo for loading on Jan. 28-30 to Vitol at more than -a-tonne premium to Middle East spot quotes, on a free-on-board (FOB) basis. The cargo for Feb. 4-6 loading was sold to Shell at around a -premium to the same quote, FOB.
Both cargoes are for loading from the New Mangalore, they said.
MRPL last month sold 30,000 tonnes of naphtha to South Korea's SK Corp., at a premium of around a tonne to Middle East spot quotes, on an FOB basis, for Jan. 17-19 loading from New Mangalore.
