MP cabinet expansion after budget session
Bhopal, Jan 12 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said that a much-awaited cabinet expansion is likely only after the Assembly's budget session.
''I am yet to contemplate over it and the matter should be left to me. Ministers' performance is regularly reviewed,'' he told journalists at Mantralaya here.
Pointing out that difficulties had surfaced vis-a-vis the Centre's allotment of kerosene and sugar under the Public Distribution System, the Chief Minister added that discussions would soon be conducted with Union ministers.
''There has been a reduction of about 200 MW in the central quota and I will speak with New Delhi in this regard. Farmers are being supplied power for eight to nine hours daily for irrigation,'' Mr Chouhan said.
