Liz Hurley, Nayar may tie knot in Sun City

Jaipur, Jan 12 (UNI) The much awaited wedding of Hollywood actress and model Liz Hurley and her Indian tycoon fiancee Arun Nayar might take place in Sun City - Jodhpur, instead of the couple's favourite destination - the romantic Devigarh Palace hotel near Udaipur.

According to sources, the couple will tie the knot in England on March 3 and later marry according to Indian rituals in Jodhpur's heritage hotel Umaid Bhavan Palace.

The shifting of the wedding venue from Devigarh Palace hotel was probably due to lesser suites available there, as more than 200 guests are likely to attend this high-profile wedding. However, hotel sources said bookings are being done for Mar 4-10.

Devigarh Palace hotel has only 39 suites, which will not be able to accommodate all the celebrity guests including Sir Elton John, David and Victoria Beckham.

Sources say Liz has specified an Indian dress code for her guests - turbans for men and pink saree for ladies. Liz herself would deck up in a pink saree worth 4000 pounds, being designed by Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani.

Liz is even thinking of opening a wedding shop in Mumbai's Hotel Hilton Towers which will stock Indian wedding dresses right from wedding trousseau to bindi, so that her guests can directly get all the paraphernalia from the shop.
