Law Reporters Association office bearers elected

Mumbai, Jan 12 (UNI) The newly-formed Law Reporter's Association (LRA), Mumbai, at its first meeting here today, unanimously elected six office bearers and three executive committee members for the year 2007.

Sureshchandra Vaidya ( Maharashtra Times), P V Nair (UNI), Nilesh Dave (Mumbai Samachar), Mustafa Plumber (Hindustan Times), Pramod Singh (CTV) and Shamsher Ahmed (Urdu Times) were elected to the posts of President, Vice Presidents (two), General Secretary, Joint Secretary and treasurer respectively.

The executive committee consists of Maneka Rao (Indian Express), Prajakta Kadam (Nav Shakti) and Neil Joshi (Free Press Journal).

Large number of journalists covering various courts from both print and electronic media have joined the newly formed association.
