Jharkhand govt signs MoU to establish steel plant
Ranchi, Jan 12 (UNI) Ispat industries today signed an MoU with the Jharkhand government to establish a 2.8 milion tonne capacity steel plant in Nandpur area of West Singhbhum district.
Mr Vinod Mittal, Managing Director of Ispat Industries, and state's Industry Secretary K K Khandelwal on behalf of the Jharkhand government signed the MoU.
The company would establish its plant in 36 months, investing about Rs 750 crore.
About 2500 acre of land would be needed for the proposed plant.
