Delhi Court summons Bhavna Yadav in Nitish Katara case
New Delhi, Jan 12 (UNI) Delhi Court has summoned Ms Bhavna Yadav, daughter of Mr D P Yadav, former Rajya Sabha member, for deposition on February 1 2007 in Nitish Katara murder case.
According to the prosecution, Ms Bharti Yadav has categorically denied during her examination in the court about the use of cell phone bearing number 9810038469 and that she had ever received any call from Ms Neelam Katara, Bharat Diwakar, Gaurav Gupta and Nitin Katara on February 16-17, 2002.
The cell phone company has reported that the concerned sim card number was issued in the name of Ms Bhavna, sister of Ms Bharti Yadav residence of R 4/32 Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad, UP, which belongs to Mr D P Yadav, father of Ms Bharti Yadav and Bhavna Yadav. According to the prosecution, Bharti's brother Vikas Yadav and her cousin Vishal Yadav were accused of murdering Nitish Katara after abducting him from a marriage party in Ghaziabad, UP in February 2002.
Additional Session Judge Ravinder Kaur also summoned Mr Anil Somania, investigating officer for the deposition on the next date of hearing.
