Bangladeshi smuggler shot dead

Kolkata, Jan 12(UNI) A Bangladeshi smuggler was shot dead at Durgapur border in South Dinajpur near Bangladesh by the BSF yesterday.

The BSF said here today that one Samsul Haque (35) was crossing the border with cows. On seeing him the security forces opened fire and he died on the spot.

Samsul was from Kalyanpur village of Panchbibi district of Bangladesh, sources said.
