Advisory book to clear misconceptions on lottery released
Mumbai, Jan 12 (UNI) The country's first advisory book on lotttery industry 'Lotteries-Beyond Fortune' has been released here.
Actor-cum-writer Mohan Agashe formally released the book at a function held here yesterday.
Authored by N Sugalchand Jain, the hardcover book gives an in-depth perspective on the advent, evolvement and stabilisation of the business in the country.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr Jain said ''For ages, lotteries have been seen and presented in bad light and hence, I wanted a platform to clear the misconceptions.'' He said the lottery industry had contributed profoundly to corporate social responsibility by constructing hospitals, schools, colleges and infrastructurte projects in partnership with the government.
The author provides a neutral view to the masses and educates them on the right choice to be made whilst indulging in gaming through the book.
The idea is to guide investors in lottery business on negative perceptions about the business.
The author has tried to prove through the book that the industry has generated employment to the lesser privileged and contributed to the economic growth of the country.
