13 IAS officers transferred in J'khand
Ranchi, Jan 12 (UNI) The Jharkhand government today made a bureaucratic reshuffle of 13 IAS officers in which Mr Sudhir Tripathy became the new Home Secretary.
Mr Tripathy holding the post of Energy Secretary, and his immediate predecessor J B Tubid will now take over as Cabinet Secretary.
The Home Secretary will also look after Cabinet (Vigilance).
Former Cabinet Secretary Aditya Swarup was posted as Energy Secretary.
Agriculture and Sugarcane Secretary Rajabala Verma was shifted to Veterinery, while Drinking Water and Sanitation Secretary Sudhir Prasad was made Registration Secretary.
Water Resources Secretary Mahavir Prasad got additional charge as Administrator of Subarnarekha Multipurpose Project, while outgoing incumbent of the project B K Tripathy was made Mines and Geology Secretary.
Registration Secretary Jaishankar Tiwary was made Divisional Commissioner of North Chotnagpur with additonal charge of Kolhan Commissionery.
Animal Husbandry and Fisheries secretary A K Sarkar was made Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Cane Development.
Among other important appointments, Pricipal Secretary (Personnel and Administrative Reforms) Mukhtiyar Singh was shifted to Finance Department, while Revenue and Land Reforms Secretay S K Choudhury was given additional charge of Principal Secretay of Co-operative department.
