Veteran Delhi Congress leader dies of cardiac arrest

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) Former Delhi Congress leader Ram Lal died here today after suffering cardiac arrest.

Lal, 94, is survived by four sons and a daughter, a party official said.

The funeral will be held here tomorrow.

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Ram Babu Sharma condoled the demised of the octogenarian.

He said the void left by the dedicated and experienced leader will never be filled.

''The Congress party will always be indebted to him, and his social and political achievements will always inspire them,'' he added.
