Punjab HRC to look into children's murders in Muktsar
Chandigarh, Jan 11 (UNI) The Punjab Human Rights Commission has decided to look into the murder of the four Bawaria children whose dead bodies were recovered on Tuesday night from an abandoned rice sheller here owned by former Faridkot Congress MP, Jagmeet Singh Brar.
''Prima facie, it was a fit case for scrutiny and examination,'' an official release today said.
The Commission had taken cognizance of reports in a leading English daily about the four bodies found in Muktsar, it said.
The Commission has called for a report in this regard from the State Government's Home Department on February 2.
