IndianOil to announce capacity expansion of Panipat refinery

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) The nation's largest refiner IndianOil will formally announce the capacity addition of six million tonnes to its refinery at Panipat tomorrow.

Its current capacity is six million tonnes.

Finance Minister P Chidambaram, Petroleum Minister Murli Deora, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dinsha Patel will attend the function to be held at Panipat.

Earlier this week, IndianOil's subsidiary Lanka IOC signed a settlement agreement with the Sri Lankan government for compensation for under-realisation in sale of petroleum products in the island nation.
