Marriage hall demolition: Vijayakant's wife files petition

Chennai, Jan 10 (UNI) DMDK founder leader and actor-turned politician Vijayakant's wife Premalatha today filed a petition before the Madras High Court challenging the Centre's decision to demolish the Andal Alagar Marriage Hall owned by her husband.

The petition is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow.

The Centre took the decision to demolish the marriage hall as part of its plan to construct a fly-over at Koyambeddu in the city, where the marriage hall was situated.
