7-r-old girl dies due to hospital's negligence
Bhopal, Jan 10 (UNI) A seven-year-old girl died in the District Hospital premises due to the alleged negligence of hospital officials, police sources today said.
In a complaint to the police, Devlal Yadav's daughter Sandhya, who was suffering with fever and diarrhoea, was brought to the hospital yesterday. However, no one was present to provide a slip for admitting Sandhya.
Meanwhile, her condition deteriorated and she died after an hour.
After intervention by social activists and the media, the police registered a case and handed it over to the Naurjabad police station.
Civil Surgeon Umesh Namdev denied such an incident took place.
The Chief Medical Officer has assured an inquiry into the matter.
