Two incidents of loots in last 24 hours in Mumbai
Mumbai, Jan 9 (UNI) City police has registered two incidents of loots during last 24 hours in the metropolis.
According to police, complainant Deepak Dagdu Sawant (32) was assaulted by five people at Vikroli-Jogeshwari link, and who tied him with electric pole, before fleeing with his Tata Indica worth Rs. 5,00,000, Rs 1400 cash and ATM card.
In another incident at D N Nagar, autorickshaw driver Kishor Bhangar Shahu (42) was looted by two persons near Borivali Jail in western suburbs.
Around 0130 hours, he said two persons came and asked to be taken to Andheri. On the way, they had assaulted Shahu and fled with the vehicle.
Police has registered cases of loots and further investigations are on.
