Royal Enfield bags best cruiser bike award
Chennai, Jan 9: Leading motorcycle manufacturer Royal Enfield has bagged the Number 1 Cruiser Bike at TNS Voice of the Customer Awards held at Mumbai on January 4.
A press release today from the company here said the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 was chosen as the winner in the 'Cruiser' segment by receiving the highest level of total customer satisfaction for the year 2006 at TRI*M TCS index score.
The nominees in the category, included the Yamaha Enticer, Bajaj Avenger and Royal Enfield bikes.
The TNS Voice of the Customer awards is the most respected automobile award where the country's top cars and two wheelers are put through the ultimate test. The award was given on the basis of a study conducted with more than 10,000 owners across 27 cities in the country, who were interviewed about their ownership experience.
Royal Enfield, one of the oldest motorcycle company in the world, was a heritage British Classic motorcycle brand, manufactured from it's only plant in Chennai.
Royal Enfield models for the Indian market, included Bullet 350, Bullet Electra, Bullet Electra 5S, Bullet Machismo and Thunderbird, the release added.
