SBI offers 8.25 pc interest on term deposits

New Delhi, Jan 8: Country's largest commercial bank State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a revision in interest rates on domestic term deposits to 8.25 per cent per annum.

''A special interest rate of 8.25 per cent per annum will be offered on domestic term deposits of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 1 crore for all maturities of one year and above with effect from today,'' the bank said in a statement.

This offer would expire on March 31, 2007.
