Paswan to visit Asom tomorrow to meet victims of ULFA attack

New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) Lok Janshakti Party President and union minister Ram Vilas Paswan would visit Tinsukia and Dibrugarh districts of Asom tomorrow to meet and express solidarity with the victims of ULFA carnage.

Mr Paswan would be accompanied with Dalit Sena President and MP Ramchandra Paswan and Ms Meera Chakraborty, Incharge of the Northeastern states of LJP during the two day visit.

The team will visit the families of victims and offer condolences to the families of 55 people who have been killed by ULFA militants during a series of attacks on January 5, 6 and 7.

Union Home Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal has already visited the state and met families of the victims while Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is in Asom today. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has sent a team of three ministers to the state and would also meet the migrant workers from Bihar who were especially targeted by militants. BJP President Rajnath Singh would also visit the state.
