New York odor not dangerous - city mayor
NEW YORK, Jan 8 (Reuters) New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said today he was confident that a pervasive odor in much of Manhatten is not dangerous, and said that no injuries had been reported.
Bloomberg told a news conference that the city's air sensors had not shown an elevated level of natural gas. He added that commuter trains interrupted because of the smell were running again.
