Four houses gutted in fire, 50 animals roasted alive
Srinagar, Jan 8 (UNI) Four houses and cowsheds were gutted in a devastating fire that broke out at Tulail in Gurez sector of Jammu and Kashmir early this morning in which 50 animals were roasted alive, official sources said.
''The fire broke out in a house at village Tulail which later engufled three other houses and cowsheds,'' they said.
About 50 animals, including cows, goats and sheep, were burnt alive in the fire. However, there was no report of any loss of human life, the sources added.
In another fire incident in Uri, two houses were gutted early this morning.
The cause of the fire was not ascertained yet, they said.
