Employees sacked following court order

Shajapur, MP, Jan 8 (UNI) Sixteen employees, including dressers and ward boys, were sacked in this district yesterday following the Madhya Pradesh High Court's Indore bench's January 4 ruling deeming as illegal certain appointments made in the Health Department about a decade back, official sources said today.

The appointments were effected by the then Chief Medical and Health Officer R S Johri. The court was moved alleging bypassing of rules.

The services of Radhabai, Kahkasha Bai, Madanlal Daswanti, Rajesh Ahirwar, Ramesh Kumar, Kailash Verma, Rameshchandra Gawli, Dinesh Kumar, Dataram, Chandrabhan Singh, Ramavtar Singh, Ramhit Jatav, Roop Singh, Ashok Kumar Jatav, Narendra Singh and Farooq Ahmad were terminated.
