CISF constable commits suicide in Yojana Bhawan

New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable shot himself with his own service weapon at high-security Yojana Bhawan today.

Thirty-five-year old constable R R Meena killed himself this afternoon, a CISF spokesman said.

He said Meena, who had returned from home last week, was posted at Yojana Bhawan since March 2006 and took the extreme step due to personal reasons.

''There was no administrative laxity behind the extreme step taken by the deceased and initial investigation report suggests that he had a troubled domestic life,'' the official said.

In 2005, 13 CISF personnel had committed suicide followed by eight in 2006.

Meena's body would soon be taken to his home state Rajasthan, the official said.
