70-year-old dies at Dubai International Airport

Dubai, Jan 8 (UNI) A 70-year-old man died at the Dubai International Airport after suffering severe cardiac arrest during transit.

Muhammad Kunju, who was travelling to Trivandrum via Dubai after the Haj pilgrimage died on Saturday afternoon, press reports said.

A relative of the deceased said Kunju had chest pain and was admitted to the airport clinic, but suffered a cardiac arrest at 1600 hrs and died.

The body of Kunju, who was due to meet his son at the terminal and return home together on the same flight, has been shifted to the police morgue.

The family is waiting for clearance from Dubai authorities to have the body returned to India.
