3 of family hacked to death

Lucknow, Jan 8 (UNI) Three members of a family, including a toddler, hacked to death by unidentified assailants in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh this morning.

Ved Pal Kushwaha (48), his wife Sheela (45) and their 3-year-old son were murdered in Jhandapur village in Link Road area, when they were sleeping inside their house.

The reason behind the crime was yet to be ascertained, police said. Investigations were on.
