World Military Games in Hyderabad in October

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 7 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Defence M M Pallam Raju today said the World Military Games would be held in Hyderabad from October 4 to 21.

Addressing a meet the press programme at Press Club here, Mr Raju said about 125 countries and more than 5,000 players would participate in the event. This was for the first time that such a meet was arranged in Asia, out of Europe.

He said sailing competition would be conducted in Mumbai and rest would be conducted in Hyderabad.
