West Delhi to get 200-beded hospital: Dikshit
New Delhi, Jan 7 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said her government would construct a 200-beded hospital at Vikas Puri for the residents of West Delhi.
While dedicating two community halls for the people of the area, Ms Dikshit said the state government would also open a jewellery centre in the Hastsal Constituency.
The Community Halls had been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.25 crore and Rs 1.2 crore by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi(MCD).
For the benefits of the old and aged, the MCD had also opened a Senior Citizens Recreation Centre at Budela.
Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said the government would set up a cultural centre with auditorium and open-air theatre at a cost of Rs 21 crore at Vikas Puri.
