Three year old kidnapped baby girl rescued
Bangalore, Jan 7 (UNI) The Karnataka Police have succeeded in rescuing a three-year-old baby girl, allegedly kidnapped by a maid servant in Punganur in Andhra Pradesh.
Talking to newsmen here Assistant Police Commissioner Malini Krishnamurthy, said that 3-year-old Tanvi was taken away on January 2 by maid servant Nirmala (16) from a house in which she was working.
The Bangalore police who have registered the case have formed four teams to crack the mystery and found that the maid servant Nirmala had eloped with a painter, Hari, with whom she was having an affair. Nirmala also look along the child, as she was very much attached to the baby and she did not want to leave her behind while going with Hari. There was no demand for ransom or any theft which made the case more complicated.
The ACP said that the baby was rescued when Nirmala and her paramour Hari were waiting to board a bus in Punganur bus stand.
Ms Krishnamurthy said that Hari, who had manageed to escape from police dragnet, had told Nirmal that he was an unmarried.
