Swedish woman attacked at Kerala resort

Idukki, Jan 7 (UNI) A Swedish woman sustained injuries when she was attacked by a man at Thekkady Tourist Resort in this district.

Police said Eva Kassetr (55) sustained injuries on her head when she was attacked by Santhosh (30) yesterday.

Later, Santhosh, who was apprehended by the public, was handed over to the police.

Ms Eva was part of a 23-member Swedish group visiting the state.
