Rebel MDMK-men thank MK for allowing them to join DPA

Chennai, Jan 7 (UNI) The rebel MDMK Leaders Gingee Ramachandran and L Ganesan today thanked the DMK President and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for, permitting the rebel MDMK men to join the DMK-led Democatic Progressive Alliance (DPA).

In a joint statement here, Mr Ramachandran and Mr Ganesan pointed out that they would function as per the guidence of Mr Karunanidhi, hereafter.

Meanwhile, in a separate statement Mr Ramachandran charged the former MDMK General Secretary Mr Vaiko for a conspiracy in order to blame him and Mr Ganesan.

He alleged they had a reliable information that Mr Vaiko with the help of a hired gang from Tirunelveli district, would throw bombs at Thayagam, the MDMK headquarters here and would apportion the blame on them, in order to gain political mileage.

He further alleged that Mr Vaiko is not bold enough to reply to their accusations and is adopting a ploy to attract MDMK volunteers by shedding crocodile tears.
