Four teenaged youth killed in road accident

Mangalore, Jan 7 (UNI) Four teenaged youth were killed and three others seriously injured in a head-on collision between a jeep and a lorry at Perne near Uppinangady in this district today.

Police said the injured were admitted to a private hospital in Puttur.

Enraged over the incident, the people beat up the lorry driver who was later shifted to the hospital by police. The jeep driver escaped with minor injuries.
