A Mother and her daughter murdered

Bangalore, Jan 7 (UNI) In a macabre incident, A 32 year-old mother and her 12 year old daughter were murdered in the City, Assistant Commissioner of Police Malathi Krishnamurthy said today.

Talking to newsmen here, she said that Mr Shekhar had been to Shabarimalai Aiyappa temple on pilgrimage and when he returned the door was locked from inside. On getting suspicion he informed the police and when the doors opened Pushppa and Ramya were found in pool of blood.

She said that motive behind the murder was not immediately known, Dog squad and finger print experts were pressed into service and investigation is in progress.
