Tata Open Bridge tourney from Jan 13-15

Mumbai, Jan 6 (UNI) The 31st Tata Open bridge tournament will be held at the Catholic Gymkhana here from January 13-15.

Tata Sports Club, which has been organising the prestigious annual inter-offices bridge tournament for the past 30 years, has decided to throw open the tournament to all bridge players from this year onwards.

The tournament, which has a total prize money of Rs 50,000 and is sponsored by Tata Motors, will consist of two events -- Team of Four Duplicate and Pairs Progressive.

Apart from Maharashtra, the organisers expect to receive entries from Gujarat and Goa.
