Haryana to set up e-Disha Service Centres

Chandigarh, Jan 6 (UNI) The Haryana Government will set up 101 e-Disha Service Centres in urban areas and 1,159 Citizen Service Centres in the rural areas of the state to make multiple services of the government more easily accessible.

These centres would also open new avenues of employment for a large number of unemployed youth of the state in the field of Information Technology (IT), an official spokesperson said today.

The centres would be set up under the Centre's Citizen Service Centre Scheme.

He said the setting up of these centres would ensure hassle free delivery of multiple services to the people at a single window.

While these centres would provide integrated solution for efficient delivery of government services, he said, the people would get reliable and timely information straight from the government.

He said the state government was in the process of setting up e-Disha service centres in public-private partnership all over the state to provide services in rural areas at par with urban areas and to ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes percolate upto the grassroot level.
