Congress shocked over humiliation of peasants

Howrah(West Bengal), Jan 6 (UNI) All India Congress Committee General Secretary Satyabrata Chaturbedi expressed shock at the present condition of the farmers of West Bengal struggling against poverty.

Today in a meeting of the Kisan Khet Mazdoor Congress, he said that the Congress was not against the industrial policy in West Bengal.

He blamed the Left Front government in West Bengal for the closure 23 thousand factories in the state. Ex-MLA Asit Mitra was also present in the meeting.

UNI
