91,000 children to get polio drops tomorrow

Puducherry, Jan 6 (UNI) As many as 91,000 children below five years will be administered polio drops here tomorrow.

According to official sources, 70,772 children in Puducherry region, 15415 in Karaikal, 2507 in Mahe and 3924 in Yanam region would be administered polio drops.

About 312 centers were set up in Puducherry, 60 in Karaikal and 18 each in Mahe and Yanam regions.

Special centers would function in bus stands and railway stations.

Polio drive would be on from 0700 hours to 1500 hours.
