7,500 stalls to sell agricultural products in railway stations soon
Ahmednagar, Jan 6 (UNI) Special stalls selling agricultural products will be started soon in 7,500 railway stations, Central Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav said today.
Mr Prasad said ''Farmers should get the right price for their products so the ministry has taken this decision.'' He crticised the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar and said ''Law and order situation in the state is horrible and Nitish Kumar sarkar is like 'Chalti Ka Naam Gadi'.'' Mr Prasad came here to visit the Shridi Sai and attended the 'Kakad arti' (morning arti) at 0515 hours, Shri Sai Baba Sanstha Shirdi trustee and Railway Consulting Committee member Ashok Khambakar said.
Shri Sai Baba Shirdi Sanstha welcomed the minister with a statue of Sai Baba, a shawl and a new year diary.
Urban Development state minister (independent) Kumari Selja and General Manager of Central Railway G K Kaul were present in the occasion.
