Varun Shipping takes delivery of crude oil tanker

New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) Varun Shipping Company Ltd today said it has taken delivery of its third modern 2006 built double hull Aframax crude oil tanker.

The tanker -- Amba Bhargavi-- has a cargo carrying capacity of about 1,05,000 DWT.

With this addition, the company will now be operating a fleet of 18 vessels.

Varun Shipping has last week entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for acquiring a Very Large Gas Carrier (VLGC) having a cargo carrying capacity of nearly 76,644 cbm.
