Two Tripura Artisans Invited to London Expo

Agartala, Jan 4 (UNI) Two artisans from Tripura have been invited to participate in a London handicrafts exhibition to be held from February 4 to 8.

Manna Ray of Katlamara, West Tripura and Kanak Kanti Dhar of Dharmanagar, North Tripura were selected by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and ISO 9001 Company under the Ministry of Small Scale and Agro Industries.

Ray, associated with 'Benu', will exhibit bamboo based furniture at the Birmingham, London Expo, while, Dhar will exhibit cane-made furniture there, official sources said.

UNI
