Two die in coach crash near Heathrow airport

LONDON, Jan 4 (Reuters) Two people died and nine were seriously injured when a coach overturned on a motorway slip road near London's Heathrow airport, police said today.

The National Express coach, with about 65 people on board, crashed late yesterday as it left the M4 motorway to join the M25 outer ring road round London, Thames Valley Police said.

The injured were taken to hospitals in the area, where some underwent surgery. A man and a woman killed in the crash have not been named.

National Express said the coach was travelling from London to Aberdeen in Scotland.

The cause of the accident was unknown but an investigation was under way, police said.
