NCDEX records volume worth Rs 2,774 cr

Mumbai, Jan 4 (UNI) At least 599 members of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchanges (NCDEX) participated in the trading worth Rs 2,774 crore (one way) upto 1700 hrs today.

There were 97,530 trades put through by them. Active trades were high in guarseed, chana, pepper, refined soya oils, jeera and soyabean.

Yesterday, about 280 members participated in trading and put through 1,26,260 trades. The volume of trading till 2355 hrs was around Rs 3,757 (one way).

Active trades were high in chana, guarseed, pepper jeera, refined soya oil and silver, a NCDEX release said.
