Nagar kirtan in Delhi on eve of Guru Govind's birth anniversary
New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) A 'nagar kirtan' was taken out in the capital today on the eve of Guru Govind Singh's birth anniversary.
The religious procession, organised by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, started from Gurdwara Rakab Ganj and ended at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, passing through various parts of Connaught Place in Central Delhi.
Adequate security arrangements were made for ensuring smooth conduct of the celebrations.
However, traffic was affected in and around Connaught Place and Parliament Street. Public transport buses were also diverted in the area.
