Militants, security forces exchange fire in JK

Baramulla, Jan 4: Militants today attacked a security force patrol party with automatic weapons at Chanakhan, Sopore in north Kashmir, official sources said.

They said a patrol party was fired upon by the militants at Chanakhan this morning. Security forces also retaliated the fire and the exchange continued for about ten minutes.
