Haryana CM greets people on Gurpurab

New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today greeted the people of the State on the eve of birthday of 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh.

In a message, the Chief Minister said, ''the sacrifices made by Guru Gobind Singh and his sons has no match in the Indian history and always would remain a source of inspiration for coming generations''.

Guruji waged a relentless war against the communal forces to safeguard the unity and integrity of the country, he added.

Mr Hooda appealed to the people to imbibe gospels of Guru Gobind Singh in their day-to-day life and maintain universal brotherhood and amity among society.

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan also extended his greetings and urged the people to follow the cherished ideals and teachings of the Guru to make a healthy and harmonious society.

Mr Mohan appealed to them to celebrate this auspicious day with great fervour and zeal and maintain peace and tranquility.
