Govt approves Bangalore-Mulbagal highways proj

New Delhi, Jan 4: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today approved 4/6 laning of National Highways sub-project of Bangalore-Mulbagal on National Highways 4.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister P R Dasmunsi, briefing reporters on the CCEA meeting presided over by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, said the project had already been approved by Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) under the National Highways Development Programme (MHDP) Phase IIIA.

The project would be carried out on the Build, Operarte and Transfer (BOT) basis, he said.
