GM India launches Chevrolet Aveo U-VA

Mumbai, Jan 4: General Motors India today launched the much awaited Chevrolet Aveo U-VA at a function presided over by its President and Managing Director Mr Rajeev Chaba.

After the launching of vehicle, Mr Chaba said ''With its combination of modern Italian design, generous list of features and roomy ineriors, the stylish and incredbly specious five-door premium hatback sets a new benchmark in its segment in terms of product attributes.'' ''It will go on sale at Chevrolet retailers across the country by next week. The Aveo U-VA shares a common platform with the Chevrolet Aveo, which was introduced in India earlier this year,'' he said.

''Both the cars have wheelbases of 2,480 mm, which is the best in class for the Aveo U-VA. The two cars also share some mechanical components,'' he said.

''As a hatchback, the Aveo U-VA provides incredible space, different exterior and interior styling, with a sporty feel, that makes it stand out against competition in the premium hatchback segment in every respect,'' he added.
