Four of a family burnt alive

Arra, Jan 04 (UNI) In a bizarre incident four members of a family, including three children, were burnt alive at Rani village under Pawana police station in Bhojpur district last night.

District police superintendent Umesh Kumar said the incident took place when Lal Bihari Singh and his three grand children were sleeping at their residence.

Mr Singh and his three grandchildren lost their lives in the fire which soon engulfed the entire house.

''Investigation was on to ascertain the cause of the fire,'' he said.

Family members of the deceased had lodged an FIR in this connection alleging their relatives were responsible for the incident, he added.
