EVIGNA-07 in Bangalore from Jan 10

Bangalore, Jan 4 (UNI) The students of Bhavan Marshall MBA programme will conduct a three-day event 'EVIGNA-07' from January ten, in which students from over 35 B-schools across the country would participate.

Informing this to newspersons here today, Bhavan-Marshall MBA Programme Principal Dr Viswanath said the annual festival was entirely designed and programmed by the students of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan MBA programme. 'Bengalooru-Fast Forward' was the theme of the event, in which students would try to address the current problems of the city.

He said the festival would be marked by a poets meet, musical evening, painters camp and photography exhibition on Bangalore. The event would also witness the screening of functional films on management. The festival with enrichment as its main focus also had sessions on health, safety and infrastructure by celebrated speakers.

Dr Chandra Akkihal, Professor of Economics at Marshall University (USA), who also spoke, described the event as a unique one as it brought values to develop networking and leadership qualities among the participating student professionals. The event would throw up opportunities for meaningful interactions, purposeful expressions and bonhomie.
